Model Flying Training
Flying training on radio controlled models is available by club flying instructors. Our instructors are all very experienced - indeed some have been instructing on radio flying for a good many years prior to the BMFA radio control flying achievement schemes.
Initial Training
This first stage of training will allow club flyers to reach the standard for the 'Safe Solo' club certificate.
BMFA Tests
Having attained the above, club flyers may then take the BMFA 'A' and 'B' tests. We have 2 BMFA instructors/examiners available in the club allowing these tests to be taken at the club site. The requirements for these tests are as per the BMFA Members' Handbook.
We take flying safety seriously and as such it is a basic requirement in this club that all members can fly models safely. The aim is for our members to have fun flying models in a safe environment.
